Magnetic Book-yep, this is my site, too. It’s really quite silly and designed to slap you upside the head and wake you up! Science of Being.com - headed up by the Lightbearers, Eugene Fersen’s organization that just recently re-emerged. For deeper and personal instruction, this is the place to go. They also have first editions of the Fundamental Principles of The Science of Being, which is the 27 Lessons with some updates made in the 1970’s. A new membership site will be opening soon and they have wonderful photos,archival information, prints,and oils. I could write multiple pages on the virtues of this site and organization, but it’s better for you to just go there and see for yourself.

Science of Being.net was the first Science of Being site on the net. They recently redesigned the site and it is worth your time to check out their information. They give an excellent explanation and demonstration of the Star Exercise.

Amazon.com now has The Science of Being in 27 Lessons available. Adrian Cooper from Our Ultimate Reality reformatted the work and published it for the masses. Thank God someone finally did it! The Lightbearers also have a new version of Science of Being available from Amazon, too(as well as from their site).

Self Improvement Ebooks–jumped on the bandwagon and you can get Fersen’s work from them. I don’t think they are scans form the original works, but reformatted(correct me if I am wrong). You can get printed works from them as well, print on demand from lulu.com.

Health Research Books–They have Fersen’s work in printed form, all scans from the orignal works. This place is like going to a toy store if you are an old book aficianado. Get ready to spend some money…you won’t be able to buy just one book.

For Baron Eugene’s connection with Huna check out The-Light-Of-Huna and The Max Freedom Long Site. If you poke around the Max Freedom Long Site, you will find a chart that shows the lineage of Modern Day Huna and you will find Baron Eugene Fersen at the very beginning.

I think what inspired me most about this body of work was the focus on the great Power within You…and also without. The information in Science of Being:27 Lessons gives you practical application on how to be aware of this power and utilize it.

You might call it contacting this power, but I like to call it being “aware.” This power always “is.” It is always inside of you and outside of you. The way to start benefiting from this power is to increase it’s flow.

From Lesson 1, Science of Being:27 Lessons—

What is this Power and where is it to be found?

It is within you, it is outside of you. It is the Power of Life itself. Within you there seems to be only a limited supply of it, and when that supply is exhausted you are like an engine short of fuel.

From where have you to get the fuel your human engine needs? From the Great Storehouse of all Energy, of all Life–from the Universe itself.

There is an infinite Supply of Power around you.

All you need to do is to learn how to draw upon it and how to use it in every department of your daily life.

All of us are subject to blocks of some kind. Mental blocks, physical blocks, possibly even spiritual blocks.Think of a garden hose that’s hooked up to the water supply. Did you every tie a knot in a garden hose to stop the water flow, or clamp it? How about stepping on it? These are all ways that stop the flow of the water. And like the garden hose, you have things that could be stopping the flow of Universal Life Energy in your body.

Think about that garden hose a bit more. If you turned the water pressure up, what happened? Did the hose explode? Did the water eventually find it’s way out? Extreme example, but it bears witness to be cautious when dealing with blocks in energy. The flow of Universal Life Energy will correct the problem, but you must be sensible and not cause a blow out!  Wouldn’t it make sense to remove the block first?

There are many energetic methods to remove blocks such as EFT, Reiki, Huna, Dowsing and others. I find that directing Universal Life Force Energy to the block with a verbal directive of being gentle to my system can be effective.

And energy blocks are just a small part of this whole business of Overcoming. I’ll be talking more about that in upcoming posts. A lot of life is about Overcoming. Overcoming our self-imposed limitations and perceptions. Overcoming the lies we’ve told ourselves. Overcoming the dark moods that might envelope us.

From Lesson 1, Science of Being: 27 Lessons–

Never fear that you cannot do a certain thing, that you cannot bring out certain qualities from within you, that you cannot overcome obstacles on your path. Remember that all things are possible to a Power which governs the whole Universe and that you are the very embodiment of that Power.

Latent within you are all those forces and qualities of yours. Your problem is to bring them out.

to contact and use that Life Force. The more

Metaphysics and old books…the perfect combination. I’ve loved both for as long as I can remember. This combination drew me to the works of Baron Eugene Fersen back in 2004. I started with the 27 lessons first. My understanding is you start with the Science of Being first, which is 7 lessons. I went about it backwards…it still worked.

When I immersed myself in the Science of Being:27 Lessons, I was amazed to find the similarities between the Science of Being method of contacting and utilizing Universal Life Energy and Reiki. I had been a Reiki Master since 1995. A non-practicing Reiki Master at that.

What I found was Fersen’s methods seemed much more powerful to me and practical. They just made sense.

At the time I discovered the Science of Being body of work, or rather when they discovered me, I was experiencing a debilitating depression. Notice how I said “experiencing” instead of saying I “was” depressed.

To give you an idea how debilitating, I actually left my job to recuperate and hide. The anti-depressants were making me want to withdraw and were effecting my thought processes in strange ways…I would just not respond to others because words seemed to vanish from my vocabulary at the moment right before articulation. I didn’t want anyone seeing me in this condition. It wasn’t exactly fun times.

But I found something in the very first lesson that resonated with my being and started me on a path of overcoming and creating. Not that I hadn’t been on that path before, but I had taken a wrong turn along the way.

This is what I found in the first lesson of Science of Being: 27 Lessons that made my whole being stand at attention:

Universal Life Energy will enter mainly through your left hand, whose palm is turned upwards, receiving the Forcefrom above. Through the nerves of the left hand and the arm that Force is conveyed to the spinal cord, and through the spinal cord to that nucleus and center of radiation of life in your body which is called the Life Center of it. The Center is situated at the very base of the spinal column, and from there it radiates life vibrations throughout the whole body. The Center was known to the ancients, especially to the Hindus, who called it “Kundalini,”the Coiled or Serpet Power, because it is like a serpent coiled,resting. Using modern terminology we would say it is Life Energy in a static condition.

From this Life Center, which it stimulates first, the current Life Energy flows to the solar plexus, which is called solar because the radiation of nerves which form it looks like the sun rays proceeding from a common center. The solar plexus is a reservoir where life currents are stored to be distributed to the different parts of the body according to their needs. After the current of Life Energy has filled to the brim the solar plexus its surplus is conveyed from the back to the spinal cord, passing through and purifying on its way all the different interior organs.Then it goes through the right arm to the right hand, from the finger tips of which it flows again out into Space. It is a continual flowing in and flowing out of your body of Universal Life Energy, stimulating, invigorating,purifying, developing and harmonizing it.

Not only does the Life Energy penetrate into your body through the above mentioned channel, but it enters into it, when you are properly relaxed and in the right posture, through every cell of your body.The cells inhale that Force,which then travels along the nerves to the Life Center of the body and back again, to be exhaled by the same cells in a form of life radiation called the Aura or Human Atmosphere. In Lesson Two will be given more details on the subject.

What if depression was linked to our Universal Storehouse, the Solar Plexus being depleted of Life Energy?

Of course I am not suggesting this is a substitute for medical treatment. I am not a medical doctor, nor do I play one on YouTube.

But just THINK about it…what if all this lack of energy ,focus and depression could be helped by replenishing the Universal Storehouse with Life Energy? It sure couldn’t hurt.

And this replenishing started a turn of events in my life.

Don’t get into “magical thinking” and believe that everything miraculously changed over night. It didn’t. In fact it got worse before it got better. But it did get better. And I sometimes fall of the wagon and go play with my old “friend” depression. Depression was with me longer than my own mother(she passed over when I was 10 years old). We’ve known each other for a very long time. I find it curious how humans run back to the familiar in challenging times, even if the familiar is a dark place. I am human.

The funny thing is I  forget to replenish the Storehouse/Solar Plexus. I just go on my own steam and poop out. And I can forget for days on end. Someone explain that one to me? This going on your own steam can make you vulnerable to all sorts of things, including depression.

When I remember, and I start to flow the energy through my body on a daily basis, sometimes multiple times a day, everything eventually balances. And life takes on a magical quality. Magical being defined as a world of possibility. Knowing that I am part of the Divine, and I don’t have to do it all on my own strength. There is help…Divine help. The same power that is behind nature, electricity, EVERYTHING, is available to help you and me! This isn’t woo-woo..it’s scientific and Biblical. Look it up.

This one small piece of information is why I get so excited about the Science of Being, Science of Being:27 Lessons amd the Baron Eugene Fersen Of course the works contain so much more wisdom. But that one nugget, the Universal Storehouse getting depleted, opened up a whole new world for me.
