Blue Moon December 31, 2009

This is our second full moon in the month of December , a Blue Moon,  a lunar eclipse, New Year’s Eve, and the end of a decade. This year gives a whole new meaning to “once in a Blue Moon.”  Yowza!

It’s a super-powered time to let go and to set intentions. It’s full moon power on steroids.

Even though you may have an urge to throw the baby out with the bath water during this intense energy, be sure to take a deep breath first and rebuild everything with love.

Winter Solstice is a good time to say good-bye to your double-mindedness, change your state of mind, and claim your good. Think you are not double minded?  Think again.

Have you ever claimed your prosperity and then several minutes later had a negative thought? You know what I mean, the thoughts that say, “I’ll never be able to pay these bills, I’ll never have this or that. My life sucks. I hate my job…”

Jesus said;  “No man can serve two masters: For either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will hold to the one and,and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”

Metaphysically, this means it is impossible to demonstrate your good when you are in a divided state of mind.

But you can change your state of mind. And the Winter Solstice has the historical and energetic power behind it to assist you in this task.

The Winter Solstice, typically around December 21st, is the shortest day and the longest night of the year. It is the tipping point. It marks the darkest time and heralds in the return of light.

The Romans celebrated a rather rowdy holiday known as Saturnalia during this time of year. One of the Saturnalian traditions was to have a time of reversal between master and slave. What if you decided to do this reversal with your double-mindedness?

Become a renunciate in regards to any negative thought. Here are two ways to do this :

1. Vocal Renunciation:
Just go to the mirror and vocally renounce every frickin’ negative thought or condition you can think of. It helps to make a list of these first. Basically,you are talking yourself out of this double-mindedness. When you renounce, it is important to fill the void from the negative with the positive.

2. Reversal
With this method you cut off the power given to the negative thought by thinking about it.You withdraw your attention and start thinking about something good.  Jesus said; ” Get thee behind me , Satan.” This is the metaphysical version of that statement.

Here’s a formula from Dr. Robert Russell you can use for vocal renunciation that I find to be helpful:

“I now demolish all the discordant and
untrue records in my subconscious mind.
They shall return to the dust heap of their
native state of nothingness.I will be done
once and for all with the past negatives
of my life; they must not pass!

I appeal to the Infinite Spirit to open my
mouth and to deliver me of all the old
foulness, pestering sores,burdensome loads
that have weighted me down these past
years, to bring me release and relief, and
to lead me ‘beside the still waters’.”

Replace your “I can’t's”, “If’s” and “But’s”
with ” I can”, “I have”, “I know,” and of course, “I AM!”

Double-mindedness is part of living on the earth plane. But that doesn’t mean you have to accept double-mindedness as your lot in life.You can keep your eye single so your whole body is full of light. It takes practice and persistence.

The spiritual life, in general, takes practice and persistence. Winter Solstice, aka the tipping point, is an awesome time to recommit to the spiritual life . Please know anytime is good to reject double-mindedness. But during the Winter Solstice and the days leading up to the first of the year is an especially good time because you have the energetics of the planet and of years of tradition backing you up.

Renounce, Reverse, Replace and Claim Your Good this holiday season!
Because it is yours, you know.

Expect The Best with Spiritual Mind Treatment

“This day I move in a bright new world, which is the reflection of my innermost thoughts and beliefs.
Consciousness is the only reality; experiences are only the shadow thrown by this reality on the screen of my mind.

This day I consciously and deliberately align myself with Supreme Consciousness. It always moves in right action;therefore,my affairs this day partake of that all-inclusive principle of right action. I am surrounded by a circle of protection; the Knower within me guides me in all decisions; the Law draws me to those persons, places, and things that tend toward my fullest benefit, and I in turn become a powerful blessing to all whom I meet this day. I reject any belief in, or fear of, wrong action.

My body is a temple in which God dwells; all of His methods and activities are those of right action. I welcome every one of these activities and throw myself wide open to them. I wish harm or sorrow to no one this day; all persons wish me well. My business is indwelt and surrounded by right action. The Knower in me gives me fresh,vital ideas; I meet nice people, make good contacts,close good sales because people like to do business with me.

My spirit sings this day, for I am filled with the consciousness of Life, a life that is more than physical. I am tuned into every happy, healthy, successful person this day. Their thoughts travel over invisible paths to me and mine to them. I draw strength from them and they from me. I deliberately disconnect my mental pathways from those that are morbid or ugly, for I am alive only to Truth,Goodness and Beauty.

Nothing negative can find a foothold in me this day. No doubt or fear can attach itself to me. No accidents or mistakes can occur because I walk in a path of right action, both when I am thinking of it and when I am not. I release myself and all my affairs this day to the perfect working of that Perfect Law, which turns these thoughts into things.

This word that I speak I speak not from myself. It is the Word of the great God in me speaking Itself into my experience. This word has All-Power to fulfill itself  in  my life and affairs this day. It is the most powerful word in the universe. I release it to the Creative Law of Mind, fully confident that it is now being fulfilled.”

Feel free to add at the end “In Jesus’s Name, Amen” , ” So it is” , ” By the Great Law” or nothing at all. Whatever suits you. It’s your statement.

Notice there is not one word of begging or petition in this prayer.
It is a statement of belief. An announcement and declaration.
