writing letters to your deities, visualizing the desired outcome,you just might be practicing folk magic!
Universal laws, especially the Law of Attraction is not a foreign concept in Folk Magic.
Many things that are practiced under the term of Metaphysics or Deliberate Creation can be
considered Folk Magic.

Thank you for the kudos. Yes, I am familiar with cat yronwode and have spoken with her before. She has done much to preserve and promote hoodoo and is an amazing archivist as well! It’s been awhile since I have listened to her show, though : )
