Thank you for your quick response. I think it would also be a good idea for any decision that we make, to contact our higher self and listen to that inner voice. I have heard that we can have our questions answered if we have good dream recall by asking the question before we go to bed at night and be open for any answers that might arrive in the dream or when we wake up in the morning.

That’s a very good question. I do not have the “official” Lightbearer approved answer, but here is my take on it:
At the time of the writing of Science of Being, there were many unscrupulous practitioners and medical science did not know
as much about the mechanizations of the mind. When you open your subconscious up to anyone you are taking a risk.
If you want to go one step further, when you access your own subconscious you are taking a risk. But if you believe and can trust
the person who is your hypnotist and you can trust yourself AND have some idea of the scripts that are
in self-hypnosis tapes, you are fine. Bottom line, we are being hypnotized all the time, David. Media, internet, subliminal messages in advertising
(not so much anymore…at least I hope)…it goes on and on. Just be conscious of what you are doing, think for yourself,and it never hurts to
say a little prayer of protection. Remember you do have a choice.
As to Steve G. Jones…love his stuff…I have no problem with it whatsoever.

Why does Eugene Fersen say that people should not mess with any type of hypnosis. Not even if it is used for good. Eugene fersen writes against the use of hypnosis although many people such as the major hypnotherapist, Steve G. Jones, are always advocating it.
